It'll be refelcted in our full Persona 3 Portable walkthrough with day-by-day guides that outline activities, Social Links, boss fights, and progression through Tatarus (the game's main dungeon). Our wiki and guides will account for both male and female routes where it matters and will make note of key changes. Their melee weapons are different, but function the same.A number of songs in the soundtrack are different, such as the battle themes and overworld BGM.A few Social Links are exclusive to each protagonist, and some play out differently. Some lines of dialogue and dialogue choices change to fit the protagnist's identity and personality. The main story remains largely unchanged regardless of who you choose to play as, but there are some key differences. The first choice you make in Persona 3 Portable is whether to play as the male protagonist, who was the original lead, or the female protagonist, who is exclusive to Portable. In light of this, our wiki and guides are being overhauled to reflect Persona 3 Portable, as it is the version that is widely available on modern platforms.Ĭhoosing Between the Male and Female Leads (See the Version Differences pages for more information.)Ī rerelease of Portable came out on Janufor PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC. There have been three versions: the original, FES (which includes an epilogue called The Answer), and Portable that originally came out for PSP and featured some notable changes. Table Steel is used to create Dagda's Club for Ryuji, the Agony Whip for Ann, the Fuuma Longbow for Yukari, and the Oomiyari for Ken.Persona 3 is the third entry in the RPG series Persona, which originally spun off from the Shin Megami Tensei franchise from developer and publisher Atlus. Table Gem is used to create the Headhunter for the P5 hero, the Beta Saber for Akechi, The Pulverizer for Shinjiro, the Maxima Sniper for Aigis, the Opera Coat unisex armor, and the TD W Plate armor for Aigis. When defeated, it may drop Table Gem and Table Steel. Sleeping Table appears throughout the fourth Theater, Hikari. Table Leg is used to create the Blitz Kunai for Koromaru and Yosuke. Table Piece is used to create the Falcata for the P3 hero, and the Culverin for Naoto. When defeated, it may drop Table Piece, Table Leg, and Table Silverware. ![]() It attacks with light Wind skills and may put the party to Sleep. Sleeping Table appears in Chapter 2 of You in Wonderland. ![]() It will also attack with Maragidyne or use Mahamaon to potentially kill multiple party members instantly. The boss variant of the Sleeping Table possesses the ability to inflict Fear on the entire party with Evil Smile and will follow up with Ghastly Wail to kill those that are affected. It impedes the party's progress and must be fought to proceed. It will later appear as a sub-boss on the 6th Path of Yomotsu Hirasaka. Selling four Thought Crosses at Daidara Metalworks will unlock the Komaryo Uchinugi male armor in the shop. When defeated, it may drop Thought Cross. It will try to Exhaust the party with Anima Freeze and then cause damage with Megidolaon. Sleeping Table first appears in random encounters in the 2nd and 3rd World of Magatsu Mandala within the Midnight Channel. Sleeping Table can be Knocked Down by Critical hits, so bringing a Persona with Revolution can potentially trivialize the battle, as a full All-Out Attack can take its HP down by as much as a third. If you're playing on Portable, Ken gets early access to Mediarama at level 37 and is also resistant to getting randomly killed by Hamaon. Yukari at level 43 or higher will have Mediarama to keep the party healthy and can cure Fear with Me Patra, while Akihiko should maintain a Tarunda on it at all times. The Table's sheer physical resistance would mean that his attacks would amount to chip damage at best, though. Junpei is a better choice for the fight than Koromaru since, while he lacks Koromaru's immunity to Fire, he is not weak to the Sleeping Table's Hamaon and can aid survival with Marakukaja if he's at least Level 44. Since there is no way to resist Megidola your best bet is to keep your HP topped off with your best healing spells and your party reinforced with buffs and debuffs. Get rid of Fear as soon as you see it using Me Patra, because it will proceed to instantly kill anyone affected with Ghastly Wail. In Persona 3, the Sleeping Table is steeply more difficult than previous bosses due to its high damage potential and defense. ![]() It later reappears as a normal enemy on floors 1 through 7 in Empyrean during The Answer. Sleeping Table appears as the second sub-boss found in the Tziah Block within Tartarus on floor 135.
